5 Ways to Support This Site
I spend many hours researching, collecting, and producing the articles on this site, and this site can survive only with support from readers like you. If you enjoy the content here, or if something I’ve written has touched you or uplifted you or amused you or helped you, please consider one of the following:
-
Get one of my books. My latest is the true, touching story of my struggle to find love: Love through the Eyes of an Idiot, which I more affectionately call the Love-Idiot book. Or to potentially save on shipping, get the Love-Idiot book at Amazon or at Barnes and Noble. (You still show your support, either way.)
-
Use my Amazon Associates Program link. The next time you decide to order from Amazon.com, click on my link to get there. I’ll get a small slice of the action.
-
Order one of the cost-effective PDF e-books listed at Holly Lisle’s online “HollyShop”. Especially the e-books for writers; and I particularly recommend her step-by-step Create-a-Character Clinic, because back when she first released it, this tool took my writing up a notch, literally overnight.
-
Make a small, easy donation. Even just a dollar or two to show your thanks, less than the price of a bottle of Coke. It doesn’t take a lot. You can use a credit card, or even easier if you’re on PayPal. If everyone who regularly enjoyed this site donated just a dollar, once in a while, the hosting bills would be easily paid, and my kids would be set for college, too.
Let me take a short break for a sidebar: Any of the blogs you frequent, if a blogger posts something that strikes you as really good, that you especially enjoyed, if that blogger has a “Donate” button on her site, I strongly urge you to throw a dollar or two her way, because it really does take many hours, spent in dedication writing all the other posts, day after day, in order to get to the occasional great one. Especially in these economically tough times, show your appreciation to your fellow blogger.
-
Post a link to an interesting post, or offer to interview me on your own blog. You can post a link either on social bookmarking sites, or on Twitter, or Facebook, or on your own blog, or wherever you hang out online. I would also be happy to chat with you on your blog, if you think your readers would be interested. Big or small, it doesn’t matter. Again, every little bit counts.
By the way, you can preview my books online at Google Books. You can even sit at your computer and read the whole thing. (Though it’s not as fun as curling up with them in bed.) And if you have read one, please leave a short review and rating at Amazon.com or BarnesAndNoble.com or books.Google.com, because that too shows your support. Every little bit helps.
